When did I start to paint?

As a child, I always loved to create. And art has always been a positive source of creativity for me.

I recall in elementary school that my teacher, Mrs. Crawford, submitted our paintings to a local exhibition, where I won a blue ribbon. Already at that time, I loved experimenting with different techniques working with crayons.

After that, I recall doing a sculpture of a koala bear in Plaster of Paris in eighth grade art class.

From there, creativity came in other forms….many, many forms. lol

There are so many creative avenues, so many hobbies, and so many supplies, that I’ve had to talk to myself about this issue and learn to say no to many other forms of art.

For me, as I’ve learned in my advanced years, (LOL) any source of creativity is my personal therapy.

My hope for you is that you have or find a creative outlet.

We’ll talk more on that soon.
