Who Am I? 2-7-2026

I am Brenda (Buegeler) Anderson. I was born in Alice, Texas, a town full of good ‘ol’ folk; farmers, ranchers, city folk and lots of oil production business workers.

After graduation, in (19??), I went off to Texas A&M University and majored in Horticulture. I met my husband on a blind date there and we’re still together after (??) years.  Do you think I trying to hide my age here? LOL

We lived up and down the Texas Gulf Coast in Wharton, Nueces, Harris and Panola County while raising our two beautiful daughters. Then we headed north to Omaha, Nebraska where it snows y’all. I had only seen that white stuff twice before. We’re now in Benton County, Arkansas living on a lake and enjoying life as happily retired, fat and sassy people.

I’m in a Gallery!

Installation of my artwork at The Art Gallery of Northwest Arkansas in Fayetteville. February 3, 2026.

It actually happened yesterday. I’m at the Fayetteville, Arkansas mall. I took six framed pieces of my artwork. The Art Gallery of Northwest Arkansas has been great to work with. If you’ve never been to the mall, it is located at 4201 North Shiloh Drive, Fayetteville, AR 72703. Stop by sometime..there is a lot of talented artists in our neck of the woods. I’m afraid I’ll spend all the money I hope to make. LOL!!!
